Jack and Narnia

About time I posted on this blog again. More 'fan art'!

Loose handed doodle of Jack Sparrow using a calligraphy pen. Rather like how this turned out. Okay, so I did it back in March and it was just sat in my documents waiting for something. This.

Another doodle from earlier this year. The four Pevensie children with Mr. and Mrs. Beaver. Thought it looked more effective being kept simple, suggesting a scene. I really need to do some more Narnia art.

I could probably dig up some more stuff like this and post it soon. Hope you like looking at these doodlings, and please respect this 'artist'! :)

Trust Me... I'm A Professional

('Trust Me, I'm A Professional', 2012. Hand drawn, Coloured in Photoshop.)

Another celebrity-inspired picture, drawn the same day as my previous entry. I was going to bring a slightly caricatured style to this picture at first, like the Paul image, but as I went into it I decided to make it more realistic. The sudden changeover did unfortunately affect the final appearance so next time I will decide, and stick to one style. Still, I thought I'd post it up. I used a bookish texture for the back of this to reinforce the fact that this particular drawing of Robert Downey Jr. is his Sherlock Holmes.

Kill Me, Don't

Because some pictures just aren't for the other blog and I don't like spending any time on a picture, whatever the resulting quality, only for no one to see them. Supposing I do keep this blog going, expect quite a variation of drawings, in digital and traditional. I don't want to waffle too much on this blog but some pictures really do need a little explanation. I hope you might be interested to see what pictures I post here. :)

A rather random picture featuring Paul McCartney. This picture was 'inspired' by an advert in a magazine from a certain animal rights group. The ad is rather imposing and annoying; yet I wanted to do my own take on it. See what I did with the message on the T-shirt? I'm not a veggie myself, so it's not my intention to promote, but neither is it the intention to boo vegetarianism!
